Hello,
I'm Dave in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have 2 spiders, an 80 which is not running and I'm considering turning into a parts car and an 82 with 30K original miles which I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep. I also have a BMW R90/6 which I've had since 1985 which I'm definitely gonna keep.

Dave, if you are serious about parting with your Fiats, send me an email.

I have a friend on the lookout for a good Spider body.

don't listen to Mike, he just wants you to part out your 80 so he and I can hoard all the good parts before other people get a chance at them.

What's wrong with the 80, do you know? is it carbureted or fuel injected?

Dan, not true. I'd only part 'er out if that was the only way...And besides, i have a Spitfire i must unload before i can "buy" another car. The maker of all-da-rules says so.

Cairnsd - i forwarded you email address to my friend who lives on the left side of Lake Michigan. He had a rather disturbing problem with his Spider last month....and is looking for a good shell to rebuild with. Hopefully, you two can get together, and make one good Spider out of two ailing ones.

what's the verdict, has he decided it can't be saved? that almost made me cry (almost, but as my wife says -ala Friends- I'm dead inside).

he is really interested in talking to cairnsd

apparently the Kazoo car failed because the seller was no where near as cooperative as originally advertised.
