key blanks for a 79 spider

I have only one ignition key and one door/trunk key. Anyone know where I can get some new blanks?

You'll just have to call around to the locksmiths in you area. Even out here in the middle of nowhere I found a small locksmith shop that stocks Fiat keys.

I found a local guy who did it for less than 2 bucks a key.

I got keys from an Aussie outfit - keys4classics. Very fast delivery. Here's their website http://www.keys4classics.com/

Try an older locksmith shop, they may have some old stock. I remember the first day I took delivery of my spider in 2008, the ignition key was almost broken in half when the auto transport company delivered to me. Luckily an older locksmith shop near me had some, he made a new key from the broken one. :)

IAP definitely has them. I spent part of a morning driving around town with no luck. My key almost broke in the ignition; I was lucky. Be sure to make a spare for the locks as well.

I picked up a couple from the Aussie place, not cheap, found a local locksmith, when I took mine in to get them cut, and low and behold he had them in stock, $2.00 a piece, Cut.

I live in a resort area and gonna pay big for a key here. I'll have to drive a bit to another town to find an old timey locksmith.

I got my blanks from Keys4Classics, but they are steel blanks instead of brass and I couldn't find anyone around willing to cut them. :(
