Sadly most subjects and content on this site seem to be organized oddly for searches. I actually search quite a bit. I'm very familiar with forums and try my best to find the information needed. But with 10,000 posts and people mentioning oil in areas that aren't targeted to my question, a simple search turns into a 20min search. Which is actually what I did. I did not find exactly what I was looking for and lot of posts I come across are from 2006 and suddenly I find they are outdated. While I apologize for the question, I feel its important to point out that I use the search tool regularly. Also, a lot of the threads I think are going to have the most information tend to veer off track. Like I'm doing now. So I'll stop.

I concur with jimmycakes401 in that I have spent many hours doing searches for specific questions. If there is a way for the administrators of this BB to improve the search process that would be very helpful. For example, if I search for "exhaust stud" I get a very long list of posts that mention exhaust and stud ... and woe to me if these key words are part of the thread subject .. then I get every post in that thread ... again. My suggestion would be for some smart Fiat expert to identify the best answers to key questions (like Mirafiori does/did). That would be SWEET !!

hey there i mesured the exhaust stud its 8x50 mm1.25p
20 mm threaded 10 not threaded then 20mm threaded

I'm not going to search "stud". That's a word I even avoid on google. : )

Hey Jimmy, I meant no disrespect, and freely admit that searching this forum can be challenging. I suspect that the Search algorithm places higher importance on the word or phrase in the title of the post vs. the body. So a thread entitled "Help" will be shown much further down the page than "Exhaust stud length", even if both relate to the same question.
