Hi everyone! I've been in the process of restoring my 1977 124 Spider and will have it ready to show this summer. I'm repainting it the original Bright Red, having all the cosmetics rechromed or purchased new.
This was a complete strip and repaint of a rust free car with everything removed. I believe in doing it once and doing it right. Can't wait to drive it again! :D

Mechanicals are great- I checked them out thoroughly before beginning the repaint. I drove it for a summer. My car has 48,000 original miles and appears to have spent most of it's life in a garage. I learned a long time ago to buy the best car you can, and as rust free as possible, even if it stretches the pocketbook a wee bit.

Where are you planning to show it? Isn't there a show in Carlisle, PA? I'd like to be able to go but it's too close to the FFO.

I may take it to Carlisle for the import/kit car show if I have it ready in time. BTW a great show to meet other Fiat enthusiasts. FLU is there and always looking for new members. I was there last year and met and bought parts from Bruce from Bruce's Parts Bin and Danny from Fun Imported Auto and Toys plus I met many FLU members who were all great people. It's really a can't miss show even if you don't bring your Fiat.
I'll bring it to the Philadelphia show in June, Macungie in August and maybe Hershey in October, additionally, I'll take it to local shows in Northeast P.A. and New Jersey.
I'm really not interested in making it a trailer queen just a really nice driver. I'd rather drive it than tow it!
