New to the Board

Post by punes »

Just wanted to welcome myself to the board. I have been following for quite a while and am glad to share any thoughts or ideas. I have owned a 79 Fiat Spider 2000 for about 3 years. Body is in excellent shape, no rust at all. Just worked out all the electrical bugs this year as well. Look forward to posting. I am from Ontario, Canada. My first car was a 74 X1/9 but always loved the spider and vowed to own one.

Welcome to the site. If you haven't already discovered, you are not alone in the Toronto area as a Spider owner. Lots of folk your way with the same illness as you.

WOW !! those are some nice pictures of a very nice looking car. thanks so much for posting them. Did i misunderstand? were those pictures taken THIS year?

Like the steering wheel and the dual 40's. betcha you could get more use out of both of them if you'd ditch that 4-1 exhaust and go with something that exhales easier.

Beautiful interior too.

I live in Bolton, Ont. just north west of Toronto. There is a pretty good Fiat gathering every month in Woodbridge. I havent made it to many this year. A really good show of cars though.

Is this the group with Angelo, Dominique and Fred? They meet at an Italian restaurant that's located in a shopping center. Ron and I took the kids to Toronto last year after the FFO and met up with these fellas during their Thursday night gathering. Great looking cars and awsome company!

Yes I believe so. Angelo is the gentleman who located my vehicle for me to buy. They are a great group, and nice rides.
