Which head gasket should I get?
I have an '81 2000 block and I'm putting on an 1800 head, do I buy the head gasket for the block or for the head?

The 1.8L and 2.0L head gaskets are the same so it doesn't matter. Fel-Pro makes a good one, Goetz is also another good brand. Try and stay away from Tako brand, it has a performed bead of red silicone around the perimeter.
