Hello,
Could anyone out there recommend the best place to get parts. I am changing a water pump, timing belt, tensioner etc.
and would like to use the best parts available. After all the work I'm doing I want to give the fifi the best parts I can.
I used to use Bruce's but am not sure if he is still around.
Thanks!
mark

Those 3 have decades of experience selling these parts I'm sure they will have the quality parts you need. None of those three have gotten me a part that is not up to the job I am doing.

I have purchased a LOT of parts, very recently, from many of the usual sources and have received excellent service from Vicks (~$1,200) and Midwest Bayless, I would rate IAP (~600) just as high as well but I've had to BEG them for tracking info, living in an apartment that is a big deal. Mark's (Allison Automotive) spoiler arrived pizza-quick, packed like a precious artifact (and looks great). I haven't purchased anything from C. Obert (fiatplus.com, above) but Chris spent a lot of time helping me make a crucial decision, so I'll look to buy there if he's at all competitive.
One guy on eBay completely hosed me, but it was bling, he's gone now so I'll take my lumps - yet another non-deductible "tuition fee".
HTH,
Mark

Seriously remiss in not mentioning Brady: His seatbelt guides are extremely well-done and he went above and beyond in getting them done and on their way.opus10583 wrote:Hi Mark, amantedifiat wrote:Hello,

Re: Parts
Google search fiat spider parts and all of the vendors will come up. I've personally dealt with Bruce, IAP, Vick's, Auto Ricambi, Midwest Bayless, as well as a few ebay vendors. No problems with any of them. Living in Canada, I typically call the vendors so that we can arrange shipping to avoid duties and customs charges.
