Hi folks, long time no chat. I have a constant problem with my '85. I have, over the last 2 years, replaced all the rubber fuel lines - most of them twice!! It may be the crap products supplied here in Spain, or maybe some ingredient in the fuel, but after a while the fuel starts to seep through the rubber - and it's doing it again. It's also doing my head in!
The fuel line available here is the generic kind with a woven outer cover. The supplier assures me nobody else has the same problem.
So, can anyone throw some light as to what is going on? And where can I mail-order some decent replacement fuel lines.
Cheers, Spiddy

Are you sure you're getting FI hoses? I use a Goodyear product and it has a blue liner on the inside, holds up to the pressure and the chemicals.

Re: FUEL LEAKS!!!
Do you have any ethanol in your fuel, or is it straight petrol.

Thanks guys. FI, you may have hit the nail on the head there! Certainly there's no blue line in the tubes I've been using. Stupidly, it didn't occure to me FI would be different.
As for ethanol, I don't know. Does it cause problems?
Thanks again
