I downloaded the images from the Apple Motors web site, tidied them up and organized them into a pdf. The file is approximately 9.9mb and works in Acrobat

Unfortunately Apple Preview apparently doesn't offer all of the features of Acrobat.

Here is a version which works in both environments as it is one contiguous PDF with bookmarks which show in Preview, approx a 10mb download:
