Yep... that's me They asked me to do a little write up on the Italian car fest site if you want to know the whole story. I had to mention my Dad as he can’t drive anymore and it’s been really hard for him. When I read it to him the other day he cried. He's always been my hero so I'm doing this for him.
My car is not show quality by any means. My club is holding tech sessions & events to help me finish it as well as get it down there. I have spent a lot of time trying to salvage anything original on it by cleaning & fixing vs. replacing so I can keep it a nice example of a survivor. I think everyone felt that’s what the spider challenge should be all about. I probably have no chance of winning, but I don’t really care. Just excited about going and hopefully inspire people. It sat under a tree for years with an inch of water and covered in grime & mold!
I did, however, change out the exhaust & muffler for Anza. I didn’t know I was entering it until the day of the show (I got talked into entering). It runs & sounds so nice with it on so it’s staying.
So if you think your car is not show worthy? Enter it anyway! Most Fiat folks don’t own show cars because they like driving them too much!
