I finally got to touch my Spider again last night...first time in over a week. I now have the carb bolted on. Next step is to attach all the hoses, etc...to it. Kalmazoo's diagram is going to come in handy big time!
I also have to attach the throttle cable. Is it as simple as it looks? There's what appers to be a mounting plate that bolts onto the intake manifold. Anyone know what size the bolts are?
As for the cable itself, do I just simply slide it into the groove where the cable goes, with the "barrel" shape end piece over the end of the groove? I hope I described that well...remember I'm a novice...
Once I get everything on the carb hooked up properly, it'll be time to but a battery in it, pour a capful of fuel in and see if it'll actually fire up. Woohoo!!!!
Attaching throttle cable. Easy as it looks?

yup pretty much that easy! make sure the rod is adjusted properly and the clips are secure on the ends because they tend to vanish if not!
1978 Spyder 1800 make that 2L! Finally making real progress!
