Tach working eratic and stalling when trying to accelerate

when you install the new pickup, make sure the wires don't get crimped under the cap and make sure the gap between the pickup and reluctor is correct. If there is any trace of oil inside the dizzy you'll need to replace the lower seal

I noticed the oblong hole in one side of the pickup I suspect my repair manual specificies the exact gap. Thanks for the info.
