What temperature should the Spider 2000 run at? What temperature should the fan turn on? Can the heater control valve be rebuilt? I know it squited fluid out when I tried to turn on the heat. Then it stopped. I assume the gasket is broken and a new one can be cut.

The fan works fine, just concernced about the temperature. The heater works fine, just leaks a little fluid at the valve.

the fan should turn on at 195 and turn off at 185. You'd have to open up the heater valve and fabricate a diaphragm in an attempt to rebuild it. New valves are available

New gaskets are available, too. They have a conical seat, and are not flat. To replace heater valve:
