When I bought my first Fiat, a friend (?) told me it stood for Feeble Italian Attempt at Transportation.

Back when I was younger and in a different time in our society I heard these two as such.

Ford= Effed over rebuilt Dodge

Pontiac= Po ole n'er thinks it's a Cadillac

Like I said different times, back when not everyone was looking for a reason to be offended.

I think we need more Walt Kowalski types.

Depending in which part of town you live in, BMW = Break My Window
According to my neighbor, Fiat = Found It At Target
