Drain plug...
Drain plug...
Anyone know what the size of and where I can pick up a drain plug for the radiator? I tried to remove mine, and it started coming up at an angle. I stopped, screwed it back in, started to unscrew it, and it still came out an an angel.

Re: Drain plug...
All of the Spider radiators I've seen have a drain assembly located in the bottom on the drivers side. They have a hollow shaft with a slender rod attached which is turned counter-clockwise to open and drain. This shaft and rod are not removable from the assembly. If you have something different, your radiator has been modified; perhaps the original drain assembly was broken off. Good luck, and post a photo if you're still stumped.

Re: Drain plug...
sounds like one of mine. In one rad I have a bolt that looks like it came from the water pump pulley. It was short and seems to have plugged the drain just fine. If it is comming up at weird angles perhaps the threds are stripped and should be chased with a tap or better yet a heli-coil installed.
