dmsa carb and vacume port

Post by narfire »

I'll be putting a 34 dmsa on a 1608, single plane intake as well, but I was going to use an electronic dist and am wondering if the dmsa has a vacume port that would work for the vacume on the dist.
I believe I'm going to be learning about carbs shortly as I don't really know what all those outlets are for. Currently the PO has some plugged.

I imagine if the vacuum port is prior the throttle butterfly like the FI cars, then it may be okay?
