Garage Gear

Post by Twister »

A few weeks ago my neighbor got a bit upset when I lost track of time and made too much noise somewhat late at night. The event prompted me to look for a clock for the garage. As such, it could not be any old clock; I wanted a clock that told more than just the time. I Googled for a Pininfarina clock and saw some amazing watches with million dollar price tags, but nothing along the lines I wanted. I then searched for Fiat and saw a few clocks, but none of them tripped my trigger either. So I wound up going to cafepress.com and designing something close to what I was looking for. Anyhow, I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else was thinking along similar lines. I'd be happy to share the files I used to create the clock face.

Very nice! I like it better than my Fiat clock.

Sweet! It's easy to take one apart as well and add any stickers or a new fascia. I remember one time I fired up my 427 for the first time, sans exhaust, didn't realize it was 2AM. Good old days, gosh I can barely make it to 10 PM anymore :(
