Forgive me if this sounds funny but is it normal for these cars to leak oil?? My rebuilt engine is tight, has some sweating but nothing big but it seems that were the engine and tranny meet i get small spots on the driveway after ive driven it, it wont leak when it sits, i've told its "normal" having driven hondas and acuras all my life I dont believe it cant be normal. I'm also told its normal to leak where the speedometer cable goes into the tranny.
I look to this forum for guidance, thanks ang.

even though sealing technology in the 70s wasn't nearly as good as the 80s, especially with Japanese cars, your Fiat shouldn't leak when the seals are new. They won't last forever, but should be good for awhile after they're replaced
